Football fans of all ages were treated to a throughly entertaining insight in to football at the highest level. Former North Adelaide and South Australian State player Michael Redden interviewed his former team mate and arguably South Australia's greatest ever player Barrie Robran at the Bank SA grand final breakfast.

It provided a view from the other side of the fence, as both Barrie and Mick exchanged questions. With Barrie speaking about his career from the North Whyalla Magpies, through to North Adelaide and representing South Australia on the big stage. Much to Barrie's surprise former North Adelaide stars Barry Stringer, Peter Cloke and Bill Lokan also attended the breakfast and added to the entertainment. Barry Stringer spoke of the magnificent form that Robran displayed in the 1972 season, culminating in a best on ground display in the Champions of Australia victory over VFL champion Carlton.

Clearly all players seem to recall stories of the Rooster's colourful forward of the 1980's Grenville Dietrich. But the highlight of the day for the former Roosters stars, was seeing the Northern Roosters collect the premiership cup, rejoicing in their victory with the North Adelaide Roosters club song.
