This should be arguably the match of the day, with both squads having undergone some major changes since they last met. Craig Thompson and Rodney Hammat have moved in to the respective coaching boxes, and State Coach Nigel "Butch" Bottrall has quit the Roosters completely to front the Browns Hill Bays. Ben Van Boekel will  be a big plus for the Roosters up forward, as will Adrian Ross in the Centre. As for the Blues, David Lehmann should be the man to tag Roosters on baller George Jeffrey, allowing David Moore and Craig Kenning to run freely through the middle.
