Appila Angels chairman of selectors Simon George has been spruiking the local knowledge of his team and how it may offer the edge. Whilst announcing Jen Harvie as the Angels captain, Simon also announced that she was also named as the team's coach. However it will be interesting to see how the Bulldogs will fare, considering this much hyped talk and the massive build up to the big game. Stacey Park head curator Neil "Les Burdett" George commented that the Stacey Park surface, could well play in to the Angels favour if inclement weather sets in.
